The object and video-performance in front of you resemble that of a ladder. Although the sound "ladder" has no real relationship with the image of a ladder when re-created as such, one can't think of anything else but a ladder. The transformation of the sign depends on the relationship between the object existing in space, and the language used to describe it over such time. It remains coherent enough, though, given that our current system of communication restricts our forms from becoming too abstract.
